TBPS SPOTLIGHT:
Dogtor Riley is an advocate for mental health and is a self-identified dog philosopher. He is a paw-rtner of Tackett & Bradstreet Psychology Services. You can watch his Dogtor Riley series on the TBPS Instagram stories to see his recommendations for building a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Dogtor Riley was adopted from an animal shelter at the tender age of 3 weeks. He was separated from his pup family and was in poor health. Puppyhood was dedicated to his psychological and physical healing. During his youth, he struggled with significant separation anxiety and delayed trauma responses. To be honest, he felt awful most of the time.
With the support of training, treatment, exposure, love, and time, Dogtor Riley considers his life to be more wonderful and full than he could have ever imagined.
He is so proud of his commitment and investment in himself. He hopes to give back to others and assure them that it is never too late to make change, build resiliency, and heal the heart.
Although he was unable to pass his licensing exam to become a therapy dog, he has a PhDog in dog philosophy with concentrations in napping and tennis balls from George Pupperton’s University.
Dogtor Riley is so excited to return to the Lubbock community after exploring the United States while pursuing his education.
In his spare time, Dogtor Riley enjoys sleeping, playing ball, receiving pets, and walks.
Dogtor Riley wishes you all the best. He hopes that each and every person reading this message does at least one small thing to invest in themselves today. 🐕
